Our Elders

                                Dallas Wauson, Senior Elder

Pastor Dallas received the call to pastor in 1980 and today is a true shepherd seeking after God's own heart, showing forth not only the great love of Jesus, but the grace and mercy of a living God. His heart beats with the same passions that thrust our Lord into the midst of a desperate world.

Dallas and Colleen have been married for 41 years. They have three children, Michael and his wife Kristin; Melissa and her husband Tony; and Mark and his wife Adria. They have been blessed with four grandchildren, Rebecca, Abigail, Hannah and Anthony.

                    Daniel Garza, Elder 

Lighting fires of revival is the story of Daniel's ministry.  He has been spreading fires of renewal in Eagle Pass and Piedras Negras, and now around the world.  Through seasons of humility, faith, hardships, and perseverance, God has molded Daniel into a true man of God who has, and will continue, to impact many lives in the days ahead.

Daniel is not only a gifted evangelist of the Word, but he also operates in a powerful healing ministry.  The theme of every encounter has been Hebrews 13:8, "Jesus is the same yesterday, and today and forever."  God is always faithful to honor His Word.  Daniel has been proclaiming this covenant promise everywhere he goes.  Individually and among the masses, he has witnessed the demonstration of the resurrection power of Christ.  Scores of people have been healed as the power of the Gospel was presented in simplicity, as it was meant to be.  "It's miracle time!"  has been his trumpet's cry.

Standing faithfully by his side, is his lovely wife, Valinda. She has been great encouragement and support for him.  Valinda is a teacher in our children's program, but she is always ready to volunteer and help wherever she is needed.  Together Daniel and Valinda are greatly loved and highly esteemed among the saints.

They have one daughter, Sara, and are the proud grandparents of her five year old son, Jonnell.

                                                        Mike Wauson, Elder    

Mike is not only Dallas and Colleen's natural son, but also a true son in the Lord.  He has the heart of a servant and also that of a Shepherd.  Inside this man is a fountain about to erupt. A fountain filled with God's love and empowerment to care for a lost and dying world. He has a passion to fulfill God's plan for his life. He is a man with a vision and purpose for the things of God. Through his leadership in the days ahead, River of Life Church will obtain her God-given destiny of seeing the invisible and doing the impossible.

Mike's faithful partner in the ministry, Kristin, also has the heart of a servant and is always ready to help or support in anyway she can. She is a gifted children's worker and is our Children's director. Mike and Kristin are an awesome team of servant leaders! They are devoted parents of three beautiful children, Rebecca 12, Abigail 7, and Hannah 6.
